ClearView co-founder Chase Hutto helps clients identify opportunities, minimize liabilities and prepare strategies for today’s rapidly changing regulatory, legal and legislative landscapes.

During his tenure as the energy, environment, and resources advisor to Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Mr. Hutto had responsibility for all budget and policy matters related to the U.S. Departments of Energy, Interior, and Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Mr. Hutto’s prior roles include service as energy advisor to National Security Advisors Condoleezza Rice and Stephen Hadley, National Economic Council Director Stephen Friedman and Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham.

Before joining the Bush Administration, Mr. Hutto served three years as counsel on the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. Mr. Hutto’s Washington career began in the environmental practice of a national law firm. Mr. Hutto holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Business School.
