Timothy Fox leads the Firm’s power sector coverage and contributes to its U.S. policy research.
For nearly 20 years, Mr. Fox has provided timely and forward-looking analysis of electricity policies and trends, including keen insights regarding state-level dynamics. He appears frequently in print and broadcast media, and he speaks before national associations and educational institutions. Mr. Fox is a member of an energy storage consortium led by Sandia National Laboratories, and he is an active participant in both the American Energy Society and the Energy Bar Association.
Mr. Fox previously worked as an energy analyst for a wealth management and private equity firm. He also worked at a government affairs and lobbying firm that serves a range of industries. He also served as an analyst at the Department of Homeland Security.
Mr. Fox holds an M.B.A. in energy policy from Marylhurst University and a B.A. in political science from Trinity College (Connecticut).
