Rebekah Givens contributes to ClearView’s coverage of oil, gas and coal; geopolitics and U.S. policy. She also supports data collection, distillation and analysis for the research team as a whole.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Givens contributed to research in U.S. and international energy policy and economics at RTI International and the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions. Outside the office, Ms. Givens is an active member of the Washington D.C.-based Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment.
Ms. Givens earned her Master of Environmental Management degree from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University with a certificate of international development policy from the Sanford School of Public Policy, where her research focused on energy policy and the role of energy in economic development. Ms. Givens also holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from NC State University.
